Ok.
There's something inside me that really NEEDS to know who is the actor that plays the traitor in the movie King Arthur.
Do you knwo King Arthur? Yes, that sort of film with the magnificent seven of the medieval ages, that trash-thing with a Guinevere in bikini?
Ok.
Now, do you remember that among the Saxons there was a young man with dark hair (and he was handsome!)? He was a britain who betrayed his people and told informations to the Saxons.
At the end of the movie, just before the battle begins, the Saxon king tells him to go up a tree and the Traitor goes there. But then Tristan shot a random arrow and hits him. (No, really, RANDOM).
I can't even find a picture about him ;_; and I can't find the actor who played him because I'm quite sure he never said the name of his character in the movie. OMG, HELP ME!

Merlin and Morgause

I had a lot of reason to dislike the first series of Merlin but I watched it anyway. I watched it because Merlin (the character) was cute, funny and a wimp but he always managed to save Arthur. And Arthur (<3) was handsome, proud and a prat. Their relationship was real, deep and, if you want, slashy. Perfect.
Then there was Nimue, evil and beautiful, and Morgana who was strong, brilliant and she has those little feelings for Arthur and she herself didn't understand.
The plot wasn't complicated and the episodes were similar but they managed to develop the relationship between Arthur and Merlin.
Of course, my heart broke when Bedivere (randomly!) died or when other important knights died without good reasons.

And now, the second season. The season of horror.
I'm going to tell you what happened.
The producer (or writer, I don't know) of the season decided to write Merlin because he read The Mists of Avalon but he never finished to read it. After the first season he decided to continue the book and he read the end. He, miracously, discovered that Arthur and Guinevere were married! And Morgana feels nothing for Arthur!
OMG! Surprise!
The second season is all about Gwen and Arthur. They are trying to force their relationship (with a love at first-sort-of-sight) because Gwen and Arthur HAS to be together.
Merlin is a minor character. He is useless, he appears in some scenes, helps Arthur to conquers Gwen and then goes away.
Gwen is useless and Maty Sue. Arthur is in love with Gwen and... that's it. Arthur is reduced to 'the lover of Guinevere'. Where is the prat? The prince who seeked the approvation and love of the father?
Uther and Gaius are useless.
Nimueh is dead (and useless for obvious reasons).
The Dragon is clearly trying to escape from that dungeon and we can imagine why. I hope he'll succeed.
Mordred appeared just once and randomly. Come on, why did you make him appear?! Oh Mordred, please, KILL EVERYBODY, I'm with you!
Morgana is OOC. And useless.
The forth episode was the worst of all the episodes.
Arthur is not worried about Morgana after seeing her bloody and quite naked but he simply askes about Gwen. Arthur can only see Gwen and think of her.
Morgana is totally out of character. She abandons Gwen. Yes, when she returns to the castle she cries because she wants Uther and Arthur to save Gwen but SHE ABANDONED HER FIRST.
Gwen is a bitch. She kisses Arthur, then she smiles at him, then she kisses Lancelot and she is in love with Lancelot after seeing that brat only twice in all her life.
Lancelot is useless.
Gaius appeares only once. No Dragon. No Mordred.
Uther doesn't even try to avenge Morgana's kidnapping. He is definitely useless.

Ah, of course, Bedivere is STILL DEAD. And I think there will be no chances in a resurrection.
And still NO KAY.
I HATE YOU, MERLIN!

But there is Morgause.
I'm in love with the character of Morgause in the legends. She is beautiful, simply scaring, terrible. She scares me, really. And she is Mordred's mother or at least an important figure in his life.
The only things I know about her, in Merlin, are that she is blonde, she fights as a knight (with the armour) against Arthur and she is played by Emilia Fox.
She is blond so there is hope about her being an half sister of Arthur.
Merlin, this is your last hope.

Plot Bunny

I have to finish some Arthurian stories but I wanted to talk about my new Arthurian story! YAY!
Until now I wrote 16 stories (mostly one shot) and I decided to complete all my WIP fanfics and not write random plots that some plot bunny is trying to make me write.
So I decided to help myself and the plot bunny writing here the plot, for the future.
I want to write a comedy, something simple, romantic and not very serious. It will be about Morgana, Guinevere and Mordred.

Morgana discovered, with her magic, a secret door for the our modern world, in London. Being a very intelligent woman, she managed to become a business woman and the owner of a famous tabloid.
One day, she returns to her office (in the modern world she is terrible and so beautiful and she was married with a rock star) she switched on the tv and she discovers that a young genious woman just inveted some new computer-thing (really, I have to think about it), and the woman is Guinevere : D
Guinevere was a woman in medieval times and her brilliant mind never managed to evolve or emerge but she found (thanks to the secret help of lady Viviane) the way to arrive in our world.
The rest of the story is about the competition between Guinevere and Morgana in the business world. And then Mordred arrives.
Mordred was sure that Guinevere betrayed Arthur with Lancelot or Bedivere, so he decided to follow her.
Poor Mordred :( (he surely will be arrested and put in prison and Guinevere will have to come and save the knight in distress).
I'm still unsure about the 'pairing'.
I'd like to write a Guinevere/Mordred but Morgana/Guinevere is a lovely pairing, too. <3

It seems my interests in this period are always the same (and with a passion!)
-Doctor Who and all the nerdy things that my roommate is showing me. (She also said she liked to watch Doctor Who! YAY A new fan!)
-Evolution and corvus monedula. And megachiropters. I fortunately found some books about birds and bats in the library of my university and I'll look for them as soon as I finish my book.
-Arthurian Legends. And I can't wait to read Down the long wind.
-Magnificent seven. I'm reading fanfictions but only about this show (expecially Ezra <3)

KYA! Wait for me, Arthurian Legends!

This is an arthurian post.
(And I have the fever, yay!)
I finally read The sword in the stone and I liked it. I know it's a book for children but some parts were funny and Kay was well written. Unfortunately the book with all the sequels (The Once and Future King) is out of order here in Italy and I think I'll have to wait for my library to order it in the library of another city (I don't know how much time it'll take).
I'd like to read it ;_; and if my library can't find it during this year I'll buy it on the internet for Christmas.

However, soon it's my birthday and I asked my sister to buy me Down the long wind. <3
And for Christmas I'll have to chose between Knight Life (if I can find the three books together in one volume), The once and future king and Exile from Camelot.
YES! A new entry: Exile from Camelot by Cherith Baldry.
Yesterday I was in a book shop of used books and I bought The chronicles of the Round Table (only 1 euro <3) that is a collection of stories about different knights. Obviously, I started reading the stories from Mordred's one.
Unfortunately I didn't like it : ( . It was a short story by Parke Godwin and I found it a little confusing. But Mordred is awesome anyway.
Then I decided to read Kay's story (Trial of sir Kay) by Cherith Baldry. It was short but interesting. She clearly loves sir Kay and she describes him in a wonderful way. So I decided to look for her books and I found Exil from Camelot about sir Kay.
Yay! My list of Arthurian Book to buy is so long : (

In these days I read also The wedding of sir Gawain and dame Ragnelle <3 and now I'm trying to read Sir Gawain and the Green Knight but it's a difficult English for me ;_;
