Ok.
There's something inside me that really NEEDS to know who is the actor that plays the traitor in the movie King Arthur.
Do you knwo King Arthur? Yes, that sort of film with the magnificent seven of the medieval ages, that trash-thing with a Guinevere in bikini?
Ok.
Now, do you remember that among the Saxons there was a young man with dark hair (and he was handsome!)? He was a britain who betrayed his people and told informations to the Saxons.
At the end of the movie, just before the battle begins, the Saxon king tells him to go up a tree and the Traitor goes there. But then Tristan shot a random arrow and hits him. (No, really, RANDOM).
I can't even find a picture about him ;_; and I can't find the actor who played him because I'm quite sure he never said the name of his character in the movie. OMG, HELP ME!

I have to finish some Arthurian stories but I wanted to talk about my new Arthurian story! YAY!
Until now I wrote 16 stories (mostly one shot) and I decided to complete all my WIP fanfics and not write random plots that some plot bunny is trying to make me write.
So I decided to help myself and the plot bunny writing here the plot, for the future.
I want to write a comedy, something simple, romantic and not very serious. It will be about Morgana, Guinevere and Mordred.

Morgana discovered, with her magic, a secret door for the our modern world, in London. Being a very intelligent woman, she managed to become a business woman and the owner of a famous tabloid.
One day, she returns to her office (in the modern world she is terrible and so beautiful and she was married with a rock star) she switched on the tv and she discovers that a young genious woman just inveted some new computer-thing (really, I have to think about it), and the woman is Guinevere : D
Guinevere was a woman in medieval times and her brilliant mind never managed to evolve or emerge but she found (thanks to the secret help of lady Viviane) the way to arrive in our world.
The rest of the story is about the competition between Guinevere and Morgana in the business world. And then Mordred arrives.
Mordred was sure that Guinevere betrayed Arthur with Lancelot or Bedivere, so he decided to follow her.
Poor Mordred :( (he surely will be arrested and put in prison and Guinevere will have to come and save the knight in distress).
I'm still unsure about the 'pairing'.
I'd like to write a Guinevere/Mordred but Morgana/Guinevere is a lovely pairing, too. <3

Italian and English.

Nel 2012 finirà il mondo ed io porto una nuova prova a favore di questa teoria.
TUTTE le scatolette di tonno di casa mia scadono nel 2012.
Se questa non è scienza, ragazzi miei.

I started to read Down the long wind! KYA! It's so wonderful to have the book in my hands *insert here an evil laughter*
I always liked Gawain but never really loved him until now. He is described perfectly.
And Mordred/Medraut is a little lovely boy.

Sharing is Caring! for one week, recommend/share:
Day one: a song
Day two: a picture
Day three: a book/ebook/fanfic

Day four: a site
Day five: a youtube clip
Day six : a quote
Day seven : whatever tickles your fancy

Day three:
a book/ebook/fanfic

I was very indecisive about it. I wanted to link Catechism (but I have linked it some months ago) or one of the wonderful Ezra fanfictions (Magnificent Seven) but then I decided for an e-book.
It's my favourite love story: The Wedding of sir Gawain and Dame Ragnelle.

This is an arthurian post.
(And I have the fever, yay!)
I finally read The sword in the stone and I liked it. I know it's a book for children but some parts were funny and Kay was well written. Unfortunately the book with all the sequels (The Once and Future King) is out of order here in Italy and I think I'll have to wait for my library to order it in the library of another city (I don't know how much time it'll take).
I'd like to read it ;_; and if my library can't find it during this year I'll buy it on the internet for Christmas.

However, soon it's my birthday and I asked my sister to buy me Down the long wind. <3
And for Christmas I'll have to chose between Knight Life (if I can find the three books together in one volume), The once and future king and Exile from Camelot.
YES! A new entry: Exile from Camelot by Cherith Baldry.
Yesterday I was in a book shop of used books and I bought The chronicles of the Round Table (only 1 euro <3) that is a collection of stories about different knights. Obviously, I started reading the stories from Mordred's one.
Unfortunately I didn't like it : ( . It was a short story by Parke Godwin and I found it a little confusing. But Mordred is awesome anyway.
Then I decided to read Kay's story (Trial of sir Kay) by Cherith Baldry. It was short but interesting. She clearly loves sir Kay and she describes him in a wonderful way. So I decided to look for her books and I found Exil from Camelot about sir Kay.
Yay! My list of Arthurian Book to buy is so long : (

In these days I read also The wedding of sir Gawain and dame Ragnelle <3 and now I'm trying to read Sir Gawain and the Green Knight but it's a difficult English for me ;_;

Mordred
OMG! I found a new Mordred!
I was curios about this tv movie 'Merlin and the book of Beasts' and I starte dto watch it this morning, because I didn't want to write and I had to spend some free time.
The movie isn't something special. It's about an evil wizard who uses the secrets of the Book of the Beasts to conquer Camelot.
The daughter of Arthur (The Mary Sue), Avlynn, wants to save the reign and the people. She travels with Galahad (yes, the real one), Lysanor (Galahad's son) and Tristan (the son of Tristan and Isoult) to find Merlin and asks him help to fight against the magic of the evil wizard.
And at some point of the movie (38 minutes) the evil wizard is tlaking with Merlin.
Merlin: ... Moldred!
Mordred: That's right, Moldred, the son of Morgan le Fay and your bloody king!
Me: NO WAY!
He is played by Jim Thorburn and I'll take screencaps as soon as I have the movie (i'm watching it online).

The Doctor
I'm glad and I'm sad I finally watched the last episode of the fourth season. But... what a touching and wonderful episode! Everyone was in there: Rose, Martha, Mickey, Jack, Jackie, Sarah and even Harriett! (And of course, Donna, the most important women of the universe).
Me and my sister are definitely addicted to this show. And now I only have to watch the specials <3 (and the Master returns... and he is BLONDE.)
Allons-y, alonso!

Arthur of the Britons
A bit strange. It has short episodes and sometime I can't understand what's happening and WHY they are beating each other.
But it's fun : D and Kai is a wonderful character so...wait for my icons!

Merlin
This morning I was looking ath the poor knights that (randomly!) have died in the tv show Merlin (BBC) and I found sir Bedivete. In the last episode of the first season (1x13) sir Bedivere DIED. I can't believe it! I HATE YOU, MERLIN!

This evening, finally, I'll watch the first episode of Arthur of the Britons (ha! no Mordred but there is a Kai!)

And, of course, I'm not interested in the slash. Who? me?

Taratatatataaaa.
I'm not going to talk about my university life because I don't want to think about it. I only need to forget it for a week, just a week.
My job ended yesterday : ( and I miss it somehow. Maybe I miss the people I worked with.

So.. slash!
I'm reading Culhwch and Olwen because I was looking for a text with Kai as one of the main characters.

And Kai went in by himself, and he saluted Gwrnach the Giant. And a chair was placed for him opposite to Gwrnach. And Gwrnach said to him, "Oh man! is it true that is reported of thee that thou knowest how to burnish swords?"
"I know full well how to do so," answered Kai. Then was the sword of Gwrnach brought to him. And Kai took a blue whetstone from under his arm, and asked him whether he would have it burnished white or blue. "Do with it as it seems good to thee, and as though wouldest if it were thine own." Then Kai polished one half of the blade and put it in his hand. "Will this please thee?" asked he. "I would rather than all that is in my dominions that the whole of it were like unto this. It is a marvel to me that such a man as thou should be without a companion."
"Oh! noble sir, I have a companion, albeit he is not skilled in this art."
"Who may he be?"
"Let the porter go forth and I will tell him whereby he may know him. The head of his lance will leave its shaft, and draw blood from the wind, and will descend upon its shaft again." Then the gate was opened, and Bedwyr entered. And Kai said, "Bedwyr is very skilful, although he knows not this art."

My, my, sir Kai : D you can't say things like these or they will be misinterpreted.

I've still have to understand what it is °_° I know it's a clip from The Talisman by Stephen King but it's not the series that they'll create for the 2010.

The library where I ordered The Once and Future King by T. H. White said that they can't find it. After almost two months! Well, thank you for your time but during this month I could have look for it elsewhere.

And isn't this one a slash fanfiction of the Talisman?

I'm reading Clothar the Frank by Jack Whyte. It's not bad but I never loved the way Jack Whyte writes. I didn't like very much the protagonist of Camlud Chronicles (Merlin) and I found him a bit boring. The fact that this time the protagonist is Lancelot is much more boring!
However I decided to buy the last volume of the series, just because Mordred is in there : D

About other things... I know I'm addicted to Doctor Who (that show is AMAZING) but Pushing Daisies remains my favourite tv show. It's original, fun and lovely. Great stories and great characters, that's what I like most. I'm in a sort of nostalgic mood, I know.
Pushing Daisies plot: (from wikipedia)
Ned, a pie-maker gifted with the mysterious ability to bring dead things back to life by touching them. There are some conditions to this somewhat unusual talent. Ned quickly learns that if something is revived for more than exactly one minute, something of similar "life value" in the vicinity drops dead, as a form of balance. Additionally, if he touches the revived person or thing a second time, it falls dead again, this time permanently.

In the pilot episode, Ned discovers his gift as a child by resurrecting his Golden Retriever, Digby, after the dog is hit by a truck. He later brings back his mother when she dies of an aneurysm. However, in doing this, he accidentally causes the death of the father of his childhood sweetheart, Charlotte "Chuck" Charles, as the "price" of keeping his mother alive. Even worse, Ned's mother falls dead permanently when she gives him a good-night kiss (which is how he learns the effect of the second touch).

In their childhood, Ned and Chuck become separated after Chuck's agoraphobic aunts, Vivian and Lily, move in to take the role of her parents, while Ned is shipped off by his father to a lonely boarding school.

Inheriting his mother's baking talents, Ned becomes a pie-maker who owns a restaurant called "The Pie Hole", which he runs with the help of waitress Olive Snook (Kristin Chenoweth). The restaurant is failing financially when private investigator Emerson Cod (Chi McBride) accidentally discovers Ned's gift and offers him a proposal: Ned will temporarily bring murder victims back to life, allowing Emerson to inquire about the circumstances of their demise, quickly solve the case and split the reward money with him.

My little knight and my lovely dragon. I bought the dragon at Fumettopoli Milan where the days where nicer and full of love. I bought the little knight only some days ago : D I like to think of him as Mordred haha, obviously. But I know that the shield is not Mordred's one.

I ordered the first two novels of The once and future king the 24th of July and they didn't arrive yet : (
Mr G. (the owner of the book shop) is always saying 'They'll arrive the next week'. Sigh.
I'm still waiting and in the meantime I'm re-reading Idylls of the Queen <3 for the second time. Because I'm in love with that novel, kya!

After Arthur's facebook Knightbook homepage, now there is also Mordred's one!
Mordred: Knightbook.
I don't like it as I liked Arthur/s one because I couldn't find the right font for facebook, however the important thing is that now Mordred has got his knightbook.
And it's a bit slashy. And Lancelot is a jerk.

Yesterday I watched on youtube the tv movie A Connectitut Yankee in King Arthur's court of the 1989 (obviously from the novel), where a little girl finds herself in Camelot and has to save the reign from the evil plots of Morgaine and Mordred.
Mordred was Morgaine's son and Arthur's niece and he was played by Hugo Blick. He was a very... scaring Mordred and a bit ridiculous, I felt almost sorry for him.
Karen, the girl, was lovely and adorable, Arthur was a bit dumb, Merlin was a fake magician and Morgana was evil, really evil. The best character was Guinivere. I know I always love Guinivere but in this movie she was adorable! Yes, in my icon there's Guinevere doing some karate : D

And now I bring some screencaps of this Mordred on photobucket and a few icons.
